Privacy Policies: What You Need on Your Site to Run Facebook Ads
Did you know you can't run Facebook Lead Ads (and many other types) without a Privacy Policy on your website? It is a legal requirement. If you launch an ad without one, Facebook might disapprove it or disable your ad account.

You don't need a lawyer to write a custom one from scratch (though that is always best). There are many free generators online.
Where to Put It
Create a page on your site called "Privacy Policy." Paste the legal text there. Put a link to it in the footer (bottom) of your website so it appears on every page.
What It Needs to Say
It needs to disclose that you are collecting data (like emails and cookies) and explain what you do with that data. It needs to tell users how they can opt-out.
Lead Ads Requirement
When you build a Lead Form on Facebook, there is a specific box where you MUST paste the link to your Privacy Policy. You literally cannot hit publish without it.
Compliance is Key
Keeping your account safe allows you to focus on the creative side. Use Stirling to handle the ads while you handle the legal compliance.
